Bouillon |
Godfrey of Bouillon's home town, so full of history and legends, has a rich history of over a 1,000 years. Its fortified castle is evidence of the strategic importance of its location in the Middle Ages, but even during the Celtic period the passage across the Semois was subjected to military control.

Bertrix |
Bertrix reminds us that we have been in the land of slate production. Here too we can find traces of the almost legendary Saint-Remacle. Everywhere, well-marked paths lead one through the Ardennes woods, Shakespeare's Forest of Arden, across unspoiled country to beautiful vistas, untouched riverside walks and wide panoramas.

Paliseul |
Paliseul preserves the memory of the leading French poet Paul Verlaine. Its historic roadways still leads to Liege and Saint-Hubert across the "Marie-Thérèse" bridge.
