Tourist information office Corbion
A subdivision of Bouillon's Tourist Information
Corbion occupies the plateau that spreads between the Semois River and the French border.
The visitor will find all types of accommodation here: hotels, campsites, gites and guestrooms. The tobacco museum and "La Ferme des Couleuvres", where the French poet Paul Verlaine lived until 1885, are worth visiting.
|
This region also offers several marvellous forest sites, full of legends such as "La Roche des Fées" and "La Chaire à Prêcher". A footpath with beautiful open views leads to "L'Epine" and "Les Augustins" where one can see "Le Lorihan", a massif that forms the so-called "Tombeau du Géant" (The Giant's Tomb). "Le Rocher du Pendu" (The Hanging Rock) overlooks the Abbey of Cordemois and the campsite "Halliru".
